Children 6-15

When I first came into care I was scared but they made me feel safe at home and I felt part of their family. You might find it difficult to fit in but you will and people will understand if you don’t like it.

Celebration of Achievement

Our amazing Celebration of Achievement for 2017

We had our 14th annual Celebration of Achievement for our children on the 16th February 2017. This year we had over 100 award winners and almost 70 of them attended the event with their carers, family and friends in order to celebrate their achievements. It was the biggest event we’ve ever had with over 200 guests. We held the event at The Warren in Bromley and hired Clatteratti to perform some samba sounds and deliver a workshop to all that attended. After our amazing activity we held the awards ceremony with presentations from the Deputy Mayor.

The day event also consisted of the following:

  • Speeches from The Interim Director of Children Services Janey Bailey, the Portfolio Holder for Children Services Cllr Peter Fortune, the Head Teacher of the Bromley Virtual School and the Bromley Living in Care Council
  • Presentations by the Deputy Mayor of Bromley, Cllr Hannah Gray
  • Goodie bags for the award winners

We’re happy to say that this year’s event was highly successful.
